This contemporary house is designed for steep slopes (about 15 to 20%). It has two levels (basement and ground floor).
The ground floor level has an entrance with storage and WC, a large stay crossing (high ceiling) with open kitchen, opening onto a large terrace (with a covered part) thanks to a very large bay and a corner bay, a pantry and a parental suite (bedroom with direct access to the terrace, large dressing room and bathroom. Second terrace finish the wing of the sleeping area.
A staircase starts from the entrance to give access to the basement. This level is divided into two: a living area including 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a wc and a non-living area (not isolated) including storage spaces.
The house is equipped with a domestic elevator allowing access to both levels without taking the stairs (therefore suitable for people with reduced mobility).
Cars are parked under a carport, near the entrance.
The terrace has a overflowing swimming pool.
To make the most of the view and passive solar gain, the South and West facades are largely glazed. They are protected from overheating by caps.
The facades are dressed in white plaster, except for a part of the facades on the ground floor which is clad with drink.
The house is completely covered by roof terraces including one raised to offer a ceiling height of 3m in the living room. The Windows are planned any height to maximize interior light and effect in outside by extending both the floor and the ceiling to the outside.

The cut shape allows here to obtain two terraces, one of which is covered and maximize views from the living rooms and the parental suite.
Architect's house
Architect's plan allie functional and aesthetic. The Figue house has an elevator and allows access to the natural land from the basement (from the children's area) and from the ground floor (at the level of the covered terrace). The children's bedrooms are far from the parental suite, thus offering the necessary privacy for everyone.
