Badi House

This contemporary house is designed for terrains with average slope (about 10 to 15%). It has two levels (basement and garden level).

Access (main entrance) is through the basement (which is also the ground floor). After the front door, a large staircase provides access to the main level (Garden level).

The house comprises at the level basementa big garage proposing 4 parking lots direct (accessible without having to move another vehicle).

The house also has a domestic elevator (elevator). The house is therefore accessible for people reduced mobility.

On the "garden level" level it offers a large living room crossing (high ceiling) with open kitchen, aparental suite directly onto the terrace and well separated, two children's bedrooms with bathroom.

A cellar is directly linked to the kitchen. This level also has a laundry room.

To make the most of the view and passive solar gain, the south facade is wide open. To protect yourself from the wind which can be very present on hillsides, the terrace has a part covered and protected (recess in the south facade).

The house is completely covered by roof terraces including a raised to offer a ceiling height of 3m in the living room. The bay windows are planned full height to maximize interior light and effect in outside by extending both the floor and the ceiling to the outside.

A overflowing swimming pool makes the link between the terrace and the garden.

Cut out house

The cut shape allows here to obtain a covered and protected terrace (from the winds) on the south side and a cantilever on the entrance side to protect the garages and mark the main entrance.

Architect's house

Architect's plan allie functional and aesthetic. The Badi house has an elevator and provides access to the natural land from the basement (east facade) and from the garden level (west facade). The children's bedrooms are far from the parental suite, thus offering the necessary privacy for everyone.

House on sloping ground

The sloping land offer great architectural freedom / creativity. In addition, they often make it possible to offer views very interesting from home and lots of light.
